LEGEND is firing on all action cylinders in September, presenting fifteen channel premieres, including the highly-rated serial killer thriller THE BONE COLLECTOR, starring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie, the post-apocalyptic REIGN OF FIRE with Matthew McConaughey and Christian Bale, and Keanu Reeves and Denzel Washinton starring in tech thriller CHAIN REACTION.
Sylvester Stallone’s famous portrayal of the PTSD-plagued John Rambo is given the full-bloodied treatment in the Channel premiere of RAMBO (2008), which Stallone directed and co-wrote. Another favourite action franchise, given a new interpretation, is CONAN THE BARBARIAN (2011) with Jason Momoa in the title role.
Other favourite LEGEND action heroes feature strongly this month, with Jean-Claude Van Damme out for revenge in KICKBOXER, Nicolas Cage on a hellish rampage in DRIVE ANGRY, Steven Seagal on the hunt in MARKED FOR DEATH, and Jason Statham in vengeful mood in WAR.
Plus, there is Western swashbuckler THE MASK OF ZORRO, superhero thriller PUSH, psychological thriller MAN ON A LEDGE, action comedy THE BOUNTY HUNTER, and gripping war dramas WE WERE SOLDIERS, and THE ALAMO.
Popular CHARLIE’S ANGELS continues, with Cheryl Ladd joining the cast for Season Two.

Thursday 4 Sept @ 21:00 – KICKBOXER (1989) *Channel Premiere

When kickboxing champ Eric Sloane (Dennis Alexio) is crippled in the ring by the evil Tong Po, Eric’s younger brother, Kurt (Jean-Claude Van Damme), seeks vengeance. But if he’s to vanquish Po, Kurt must first learn a martial art known as Muay-Thai.
Sunday 6 September @ 21:00 – REIGN OF FIRE (2002) *Channel Premiere

When workers in a London tunnelling project awaken a fire-breathing beast from centuries of slumber, all hell breaks loose. Twelve-year-old Quinn (Christian Bale) sees his mother, one of the workers, die trying to escape. Twenty years later as a fire chief, he tries to keep a group of refugees alive as fierce dragons dominating the skies. Also stars Matthew McConaughey.
Sunday 7 September @ 21:00 – THE MASK OF ZORRO (1998) *Channel Premiere

The original Zorro, Don Diego de la Vega (Anthony Hopkins), escapes from prison and trains a successor, Alejandro Murrieta (Antonio Banderas), to fight against the corrupt Don Rafael Montero, who has stolen de la Vega’s daughter, Elena (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Montero plans to rob California of its gold, and the new Zorro must stop him.
Tuesday 9 September @ 21:00 – MAN ON A LEDGE (2011) *Channel Premiere

Twenty storeys up, wanted fugitive Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington: threatens suicide from a Manhattan rooftop. As hostage negotiator Lydia Mercer tries to talk him down, she discovers that Cassidy was convicted for his part in a multi million-dollar diamond robbery. Whilst Cassidy creates the ultimate distraction his brother and his feisty girlfriend are out to prove his innocence by committing a new crime.
Thursday 11 September @ 21:00 – DRIVE ANGRY (2010) *Channel Premiere

Thrown into hell for his crimes, felon John Milton (Nicolas Cage) escapes from the fiery pit after cultists murder his daughter and take her baby. Intent on rescuing the child, Milton joins forces with a waitress (Amber Heard), who gives him her ex-lover’s fire-red muscle car. The two then pursue the cult leader, who plans to sacrifice the infant and unleash hell on Earth.
Saturday 13 September @ 21:00 – RAMBO (2008) *Channel Premiere

Having long-since abandoned his life as a lethal soldier, John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) lives a solitary life near the Thai border. After guiding a missionary (Julie Benz) and her comrades into Burma, he gets an urgent call for help. The missionaries have not returned and Rambo sets out to rescue the captives from the Burmese army.

After his partner dies, Drug Enforcement Agent John Hatcher (Steven Seagal) returns to his hometown. But things there have changed for the worst. .
