British comedy drama feature CROSS TALK, starring Jo Joyner (No Angels ), Mark Benton (Persuasion), Bill Fellows (Ted Lasso), Joanne Mitchell (Bait) and Anita Dobson (Eastenders, Doctor Who), has just wrapped, shooting on locations in Yorkshire and at Provision Studios in Leeds, employing an all local crew.

Co-written and directed by Steve Nesbit (Gloves Off, North Versus South, A Very British Christmas), the story centres on journalist Diana (Jo Joyner), who takes an alcohol-free break at a rehabilitation centre, only to discover that she and the other residents are trapped in a pill-popping pharmaceutical nightmare where the duplicitous manageress, Miss Natasha (Joanne Mitchell), is running a cyclic, vampiric scam of federal proportions.

Co-writer and Producer Deborah Henry said today: “The film sets out, through a fictional setting,  to expose how giant pharmaceutical conglomerates can abuse those with whom it is entrusted to help and protect.  Cross Talk scrutinizes a darkly hidden subject matter through a comedic lens, providing laughter and pathos in a hopefully entertaining and dramatic way.  She adds: “The entire cast and crew was exceptional. The overall production resonated with a sense of family and work ethic that exceeded our expectations”.
